Parent Association

The Parent Association is designed to increase family involvement in the school by advocating for students and families, updating parents and families about what’s happening at school, and by planning and running activities for families. The Parent Association can do so in a number of ways, including hosting parent workshops, fundraising, running volunteer events, and hosting social events for students and families. 


The parent association is seeking parents and guardians to run for the following positions:

  • President
  • Treasurer
  • Recording Secretary

 

The only qualification for any position is that the candidate be a parent or legal guardian of an SDC student. If you are interested in running, please email parent coordinator Lizbel Vargas at [email protected].
