At SDC, we embrace the saying "brick by brick" as a powerful reminder that great achievements are built gradually through small, consistent, and intentional efforts. Just as a mason constructs a sturdy wall by laying each brick with care, so too do we shape our futures.

As high school students, you build your GPA, accumulate credits, and enhance your resume one day at a time, one class at a time, and one experience at a time. Instead of getting overwhelmed by the big picture, we focus on the here and now—concentrating on today’s classes and completing today’s assignments with the same precision and dedication that a mason employs when placing each brick.

By stacking assignment upon assignment, class upon class, and day upon day, we steadily work towards our goals. At the end of four years, we find that our consistent efforts have culminated in significant accomplishments. This philosophy encourages us to be present, patient, and persistent, knowing that every small step contributes to our overall success. Together, let’s build our future, brick by brick!
